Frequently Asked Questions
Have questions? We’ve got answers.
Planning a trip can raise lots of questions.
Here are some of the most common ones we get at Harrison House Travel Agency.
1. What does the $500 planning fee cover?
The planning fee secures our time to research and design a custom travel itinerary tailored to your family. It includes everything from destination recommendations to booking assistance and so much more, ensuring you have a stress-free planning process.
2. What happens after I pay the planning fee?
Once the fee is paid, we’ll begin creating your personalized itinerary. You’ll receive a detailed proposal with recommended destinations, activities, and accommodations, etc., all tailored to your family’s needs.
3. Can you plan trips for large families or multi-generational groups?
Absolutely! We specialize in creating travel plans that accommodate families of all sizes, including multi-generational groups. Each family group will have it’s own planning fee. For large groups, discounts may apply.
4. Do you only plan trips for families?
While our expertise is in family travel, we’re happy to plan trips for couples, friends, or individuals seeking stress-free, customized travel experiences.
5. What if I need to cancel or reschedule my trip?
We work with travel providers and travel insurance that offers flexible cancellation and rescheduling policies, whenever possible. We’ll guide you through the process to minimize any disruptions.
6. Do you charge any other fees beyond the $500 planning fee?
No, our $500 planning fee is the only upfront cost.
7. Can you book flights, hotels, and activities?
Yes! We handle all aspects of booking, from flights to hotels, excursions, and even dining reservations. We also have choices for charter flights along with many luxury add-on options.
8. How far in advance should I book a trip?
We recommend reaching out 6-18 months in advance for international travel or popular destinations. For domestic trips, 3-6 months is usually sufficient. Typically no more than 2 years out.
